Due to some shocking flashbacks I had this morning, I've realized that I've been getting cocky with my work as far as the series.

When I first created the series, I was just in the peeks of puberty. I was alone. I was very emotional and dealt with personal issues that every pre-teen deals with in today's world. However... I had dreams and flashbacks of what seemed to be memories from another life. I felt so empowered and grown up by these experiences that it was hard to tell reality from fantasy. I think it was then that I realized that I had another "self" perhaps spiritual (I was a Wiccan then). I've always had this image in my mind when I think of myself doing something or if I'm in one of my own dreams. I'm around teen to young adult in years, long black wavy hair, piercing blue eyes, pale white skin, almost elf like, long slim fingers, and a slender build. That and I always seem to be wearing this white dress. It's flowy and chiffon and is almost like a renaissance type of thing.

When I made Darkaieto or "Kaieto", I based her off this image. It was an image that always followed me in these flashbacks and dreams. Before I began the series, it was just a coded journal. Everything from these dreams to the flashbacks to the day to day life I went through as a pre-teen. I remember writing down having hawk-like wings and black/silver fox ears and tail - also able to turn into a black wolf, black/silver fox, or a black and red coyote. Scary. That's what S'kas is; the form I take during meditation. I'd just never think it'd be a coyote. I had not read up much about them and never considered it to be one. It looked like a foxish wolf to me.

The flashbacks I had this morning while going for a morning jog with Julie [my doggie] were the same ones I had at 15. I'm that image. I'm lying in a cobblestone garden courtyard of an abandoned chapel belonging to the monks. It's from the Renaissance period and a couple of monks in their robes walk by. It's like they don't mind me being there or I somehow belong to them. The courtyard is filled with roses. Soft coral roses that are pale and dusty. They have sage green leaves. I'm in a a white or off-white chiffon flowy gown and it seems like I'm daydreaming or sleeping peacefully. It has just finished raining a light shower and the trees and are a lush green with Spanish moss everywhere. It's like one of the scenes from Redwall. Rain drops fall from the trees and tickle my cheek. Nearby deer walk without fear or worry. I basically look like Kate Beckinsdale.

Why do I find myself cocky? This was Evera, the holy land of Arsaemiez. I completely changed it to something else the more I started giving in to these dreams and 'memories'. About a year ago, me and my parents went for a walk in this gorgeous park my dad used to work in when he was a park ranger. More memories sprouted and gave off a fairy-like feel... like I was 'at home' again. Every time I go for a walk in the woods, I always get this feel. I feel like I'm among the fairies and I'm a little fox exploring the wood.

This is the magick I want to put back into my story. I want to put back these 'memories' and feeling back in so you can all feel and see what I saw myself witnessing at 15. All these beautiful scenes and landscapes and abandoned chapels that seem to pop up.

Once we get to the chapter when Kai visits Arsaemiez and Evera for the first time, you will all be able to see the magick this 'home' has.
